From demo to radio-ready.
You've written the song. Now hear it the way you imagined it. Send us your demo, however rough, and we'll turn it into a fully polished, radio-ready track with a world-class band of session musicians behind you. Sing, play, produce or just listen in: you're as involved as you want to be.
How it works
- Send us your demo. A phone recording, a voice memo, a rough home recording: anything that shows us the song. Upload it with "Send your song" on our booking form.
- Let's talk. We'll arrange a call to go through your song and the sound you're after, and work out the right players for it.
- Book your session. We pick a date, bring in the band and have the studio ready before you arrive.
- Make the record. Record alongside the band, or take the producer's chair and shape the performance with our studio team until it's exactly what you hear in your head.
- Leave with your song. Finished, polished and ready for radio and streaming.
Your band, your way
The players
We have a vast network of session musicians, some of the best players and performers in the UK, and they bring their A-game every time. A rhythm section of guitar, bass, drums and keys is a great starting point, and we can add strings, brass and woodwind too. Whatever your song needs.
Your role
Be as involved as you like. Sing your song, play on it, or produce the whole session from the chair while we bring your ideas to life. There's no right way to do it, only your way.
Can't make it to Essex?
Join the session remotely. We'll send you a web link so you can hear exactly what we're hearing in the studio, live, on your phone or computer, and give feedback as we go.
What you leave with
It depends on what you need. Leave with a finished mix, a fully mastered track ready for radio and streaming, or the recorded tracks from the session if you'd rather mix and master yourself.
Pricing
Every song is different, so we'll give you a price once we've talked through your project. As a guide, a day with a four-piece band (guitar, bass, drums and keys/piano) costs around £1,400, and we would normally plan to work on 4 songs in one 8-hour session. Send us your demo and we'll put together a quote that fits your song.
Film or stream your session
Want to show your fans how the song came together? With everyone's permission, we can film your session in multi-camera 4K or livestream it as it happens. This is charged as an extra; ask us when you send your demo.
Who you'll be working with
I'm James, and I've spent my life making music. I started playing drums at 4 years old and was performing live by the age of 5. I'm a drummer first, then guitar and bass, and then as much keyboard as a track needs.
As a musician and band leader, I've worked all over the world, on cruise ships and on stage with world-class acts. I've helped hundreds of artists, live and in the studio, turn rough demos into finished, polished songs. I know what a song needs to work, and how to get the best from a band to get it there.
